The Importance of Upgrades in World of Warcraft
Upgrades are new items that boost your stats. You can upgrade armor, weapons and trinkets with these.
Upgrades to items use a system known as "upgrade pity" to determine probabilities. This system is designed to reduce the risk of losing money and offer security when you upgrade.
Armor
The item upgrader gives players the possibility to upgrade the level of equipment of their weapons, armor and trinkets. The upgrade is applied to gear when you visit an upgrader NPC using the appropriate currency. The upgrade of an item will upgrade the stats on that item.
This NPC is found in every major city, and is located in the corner of the square, near the teleport. The NPC can be used to upgrade any type of armor, weapon or trinket with the exception of items that require an adventure to acquire or craft.
Note: The thing you use to upgrade your gear is destroyed forever. You are not able to apply multiple upgrades to one piece. If you try to do so the previous upgrade will be replaced.
Upgrade item upgrades is a great way to maximize the use of your gear and increase your damage, survival, and overall power. If you own Benthic gear that you obtained from the War Within Mythic Dungeon it will be at ilvl 385 and is upgradeable with [Prismatic manapearls]. Upgrades to your PvE gear are account-wide. Upgrades to your PvP equipment require a specific currency like [Valorstones] or [Harbinger Crests[Harbinger Crests]. The amount of Valorstones required to upgrade additional items of gear in a particular armor slot is reduced after the first upgrade on that equipment.
Weapons
Weapons are a crucial component of any character that is successful. They can be used to fend off the wrathful monster, take down an intruder or compete in a target shooting contest. They can also hang on the wall. Whatever way you decide to use a specific weapon, you should keep in mind that it's possible to upgrade it and will evolve according to your style of play.
Upgrades to weapons can be made by visiting a Blacksmith who has a Weapon Workbench. Located in the right wing of the Roundtable Hold hub area, Blacksmith Hewg is a good option to upgrade your main weapon. Iji is a Smithing Master located in the northwestern region, "Road to the Manor", of Liurna. Smithing Master Iji upgrades both armor and weapons.
In general, upgrading an item will raise its weapon's level by 5. Azerite weapons (see below) or other special weapons will have their ilvl increase by 15 for all upgrades. A player is limited to one active upgrade at a given point in time. If you try to upgrade a weapon when another upgrade is being applied it will fail and your weapon will be restored to its original level.
Upgrades don't just boost the item level, but also give it additional stats that can be used to boost its power. Certain upgrades are passive, while others will provide more damage, more powerful attacks, greater range or even critical strike opportunities.
Some weapons can be upgraded to a higher quality using an Ashes of War weapon, which rewards you for defeating certain bosses of raids. Whetblades are rare items which allow you to unlock new Affinities for weapons.
Once a weapon is fully upgraded, the player is able to continue to upgrade it as long as he/she has the correct upgrade materials and currency. Be aware that weapons can only reach 25 ilvl, and not higher. As a result, players should only upgrade their weapons when they've obtained the maximum number of upgrades from regular and Whetblade items.
Trinkets
The Trinkets provide a variety of Boosts. They can be upgraded like other equipment, through direct interaction with the Item Upgrader.
You can find an item upgrader in the town of Stardew Valley. To use it, first you must un-equip any weapons or armor. The NPC will then appear with the red banner "Equiped" over his head.
If you select him, he will give you the option of upgrading your weapon or armor. You must bring the currency and items to the NPC. The NPC will then upgrade your equipment by one level.
A trinket could be an inexpensive, small piece of jewelry or ornament. The word trinket is likely originated from the Old English term trenket which is a reference to "three cornered sail." This could refer to an old three-cornered sailing sail which was a part of a ship's foremast or, as some researchers suggest an imaginary blade that children would wear as an ornament.

Apart from the standard trinket upgrade, each comes with additional capabilities that can be added. They can boost the effectiveness of an item, but might require more materials and/or skill to obtain. Certain items can be acquired by interacting with an NPC during an adventure. Other items are available as drops from battlegrounds and dungeons.
The Item Upgrader NPC can be found in a variety of locations throughout the game. Locations are displayed on the map. Some NPCs only offer upgrades for specific types of equipment, while others allow you to upgrade any item. Certain NPCs also offer additional perks available for those who complete quests with them. The NPC at Shattering Rift gives players a new toy after they defeat the Ancient Beast. Similarly, the NPC at Eastern Guard Tower offers a unique trinket for players who defeat the Ancient Beast.
Set Pieces
A set piece is a pivotal scene that enhances a film and stays with the audience long after credits end. It could be a scene that involves action, emotion or just a visual spectacle. Set pieces are an integral part of cinema magic and must be executed with care to create the desired effect. Set pieces are employed in professional soccer to refer to any time a ball is returned to the field by through a kick, throw-in or other formal methods. Corners and indirect free kicks, direct free kicks and goal kicks all fall under this category. Teams will use these situations to their advantage by putting players in a position to receive the ball and forcing defenders to be alert and change their assignments in line with the situation. This can be done by aerial duels, crossings as well as different kinds of deliveries, and headed goals.

Generally upgrading an item can increase its value but there are some exceptions. For example the item may have inherent requirements that limit its uses (take Whistan's shield for FB sorcs as an example) or if an item has a low base stat that can be upp'd to get a high or perfect roll, then it will only be able to see very little use and thus gain minimal value.
